LET'S MAKE 2010 FUN

We are in the earliest stages of planning a series of 2010 events which the parish will sponsor. Our hope is to encourage a variety of activities so that each part of the St Edwards/St Marks parish will find something of interest to them. We very much want your ideas and to keep you informed. We are hoping to begin using e-mail and text messaging to communicate with you. As an important first step we are providing contact information forms at each Mass. Please do fill these out and leave them in the basket at the back of the church.
If you have any questions, input or ideas or if you would like to be more involved, please contact any of the following people:

Brigidine School Windsor, Junior Drop In Day

Brigidine School invite parents to a Junior School Drop-in-Day on Thursday 6th May 2010 between 9.30am and 3.30pm. All are welcome, but this event is particularly aimed at pupils looking to join the junior school.
Places are available in most years with a limited number available in the nursery.
A recent change is that the school now accepts children in the pre-nursery from the age of 2 years. Extended hours are also available.
In keeping with the school’s charitable status, a limited number of Diamond Jubilee Scholarships are available, particularly for entry into year 3 and year 5.
Please contact the Registrar, Mrs Deborah Bates, deborahbates@brigidine.org.uk or 01753 863779.

Parish Forum

The next meeting is in the Parish Centre on Tuesday 9th March at 8pm.
This is an open meeting and all parishioners are most welcome.
The parish community needs your gifts and talents so please come along and play your role in the life of our parish – your active participation will be much appreciated as we build our community together.
Items for inclusion on the agenda should be sent to the Presbytery before noon on Wednesday 3nd March

HAVE YOU LOST TOUCH WITH THE CHURCH - THEN WELCOME BACK

If you are a Catholic who has been away from the Church, we want you to know that we miss you and would love to welcome you back.
This parish runs a Keeping in Touch (KIT) Programme.
KIT is a new lay-led ministry whose aim is to welcome and keep in touch with all local Catholics, especially Catholics who no longer go to Church.
KIT offers those who wish to explore their faith once more the opportunity to join with other non church-going Catholics for a series of small group meetings during which they can ask questions, raise issues, deal with difficulties and explore today’s Church without the need to commit themselves.
If you would like further details e-mail kit@catholicwindsor.org

More information can also be obtained from KIT's own website: www.kit4catholics.org.uk
